Thank you very much for your academic cooperation as Kochi University of Technology’s partner university over the years. We are proud to inform you that Kochi University of Technology made the following changes in October 2013 in order to make our programs more attractive.

<Special Scholarship Program>

The Special Scholarship Program is a 3-year English-medium full scholarship Ph.D. Program in Engineering designed for highly capable doctoral students. Successful applicants are entitled to receive following benefits:

1. Exempted from all the required student fees
2. 150,000 JPY per month for research project work
3. 150,000 JPY for travel and initial living cost (given only to international applicants who are living outside Japan at the time of application)

<New on-campus accommodation “International House” established>

KUT recently opened its new on-campus accommodation called “International House”, to provide a high quality research and study environment for both overseas and Japanese students. International students can enjoy this living-learning environment while developing a better understanding of Japanese culture through daily life with Japanese students.
