TRADITIONAL FESTIVAL DAY OF THE FACULTY OF ELECTRONICS - TELECOMMUNICATIONS - Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications

On June 11, at Nguyen Van Cu campus – District 5, the Traditional Festival of the Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications took place. This is a solemn occasion to recognize and appreciate the contributions of the faculty’s staff, lecturers, and students through periods and partners. At the same time, it is a meaningful time for generations of staff, lecturers, students, and alumni of the faculty to meet and review beautiful memories from the days at the University.

Attending the Traditional Festival was Assoc. Prof. Tran Cao Vinh, Party Committee Secretary – Chairman of University Council; Assoc. Prof. Tran Le Quan, President of VNUHCM-US, Assoc. Prof. Tran Minh Triet, Vice President of VNUHCM-US; Prof. Dang Luong Mo, Advisor of VNU-HCM on microchips; Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Van Hieu, Deputy Head of Department of Science and Technology, VNU-HCM, Former Dean of the Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications; Dr. Huynh Huu Thuan, Former Dean of the Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications, Head of Department of Computer & Embedded System; Dr. Le Huu Phuc, Former Head of the Department of Electronic Physics, predecessor of the Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications; Prof. Dinh Sy Hien, Former Head of the Department of Electronics; Mr. Dinh Ha Duy Linh, Member of University Council, Head of the Science Alumni Community Representative Board; Dr. Bui Trong Tu, Dean of the Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications; Dr. Dang Le Khoa, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications, Head of the Department of Telecommunications and Networking; MSc. Cao Tran Bao Thuong, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications; Dr. Le Duc Hung, Head of Department of Electronics, Head of DESLAB Laboratory, Chairman of the Union of Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications; with teachers, lecturers, alumni, and students studying at the faculty.

This year’s festival is not only a milestone marking 17 years of formation and development of the Faculty, but also an opportunity for teachers, former lecturers and lecturers of the Faculty of Telematics and Telecommunications, alumni and students of the Faculty have the opportunity to meet, interact and strengthen connections with each other. The Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications was established by the Decision of the Director of Ho Chi Minh City National University on June 19, 2006, but has a long tradition.

Dr. Bui Trong Tu – Head of the Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications was present gifts as a form of deepest gratitude to the researchers and lectures for their contributions and dedication throughout the establishment and development of the Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications.

Besides, Mr. Nguyen Ba Tung – Deputy Head of the Board of Representatives Alumni Community further informed: “The Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications and the Representative Board of the Alumni Community will jointly organize more connection programs following the Traditional Festival to promote and strengthen this connection in the near future.”
